Pediatric Social Worker - Full Time

Kick Start Pediatric Therapy Network is seeking a full time licensed clinical social worker to join our team of experienced pediatric specialists at both our Northfield and Libertyville locations. Ideal candidates should be interested in developing their skills in relationship and play based practice as well as in using a holistic approach to address client's needs. We provide extensive training, mentorship and supervision for all therapists, regardless of experience level. In addition, therapists are provided with state of the art therapy equipment and supplies, continuing education stipends and paid time off.

Kick Start Pediatric Therapy Network is a multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy clinic that specializes in individual and group therapies, as well as a therapeutic preschool program. This position is in a clinical setting and includes individual treatment, co-leading social groups , assessments, team meetings, community based services and case coordination for parents. Come join our team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, developmental therapists, and social workers.

Speech Language Pathologist - full-time

Seeking a full time pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist to join our multi-disciplinary team of pediatric specialists at both our Northfield and Libertyville locations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Abiding by “good practice” standards re: confidentiality, client care, and treatment planning/implementation in order to provide qualify and consistent treatment to clients both in individual and group sessions.

  • Planning/leading multi-disciplinary group activities (seeking input from therapists and co-leaders of groups in order to create rich multi-faceted activities.)

  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary team of therapists/assistants.

  • Demonstrating therapeutic use of self that reflects understanding of individual differences of children.

  • Supervising OT Students in individual and/or group supervision sessions, once experience allows.

  • Communicating with parents as needed regarding progress, recommendations and home support.

  • Playing, having fun, and relishing in the fact that she/he is making a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Volunteers/Interns 

Therapeutic Preschool Program in need of Interns and/or Volunteers to support 3-6 year olds and assist Lead Therapist. 

This is a chance to join a team of therapists from various backgrounds for collaboration to help clients made long-term progress. If needed, Interns can complete projects within the group, such as creating a lesson or developmental profile of a child. Great position for students to gain valuable experience while and prior to persuing a degree in a related field.

This is an unpaid position.
