Kinder Buds

A Social Group with an Academic Focus for 5-6 year olds led by a Special Educator with support from OT, Speech, and Social Work. All academic goals align with the Common Core State Standards.

Areas of focus include :  

• Language Arts with a Whole Language Approach

• Math/Science

• Social Emotional Development

• Gross and Fine Motor Skills

• Sensory Regulation

• Speech and Language, including Social Pragmatics. 

• Social Problem Solving

• Attention

• Focus

Time is spent both in the classroom, and in our sensory-motor gym and art room.
